Ugly Earl

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

She had an ugly man in her life, she was gonna be an ugly man's wife. But he beat her like an egg, she couldn't see it comin. Had her by the hair, too late to start the runnin'. Ain't no time to wonder why, he loved to watch her when she'd cry. Ain't no time to wonder why, but that's OK, cause Earl has to die. Ugly ugly ugly man, your face is such a fright Ugly ugly ugly man, you cause mares in the night you cause mares in the night, cause ugly is U, Earl!
