Why Lord, why?

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I walk these streets alone, I look up to the sky, as I scream out why Lord, why. I wonder if I'll ever find you, or is this my destiny, this endless search I'm on. Are you somewhere out there waiting for me? It's this hope that keeps me hanging on. So as I walk these streets alone, callin out your name, I wonder why Lord, why, I walk these streets alone. Is this my destiny? This would make a great song, I have the tune in my head. I need to work out the chorus and verse thing. Hey, don't rush me, OK:) Written January 6th, 2002 © on Jan 06 2002 06:45 AM PST   20 • 0 • 10
