wild horses

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I could not love you more, but still I do, with each moment that we share, ever increasing as time is shared between you and I, my love. I wish to grow to know of you, more and more with each passing day, and you fear that as I learn, I'll become aware of things that make me run away. You are obviously unaware of how I feel for you, and how you make me feel when we're together. How could any man run from feelings such as these? It would be impossible I say, for even wild horses would not have the power to put my heart away. Written February 12th, 2002 © on Feb 12 2002 12:01 PM PST   0 • 8
