you might wonder

By Richard J Sereday Jr

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

As I look into your eyes, I do see your heart, and the place there within, prepared for me, and it cries out to me, for in me it sees the things I have in store for you. These gifts of passion, and love undying ……. so far out of reach, due to circumstance and the ways of this cruel cruel world that would tease us like this, yet in this vast universe, you are but a heart beat away, should God ever smile down upon us, we two, my all would be yours, as your gifts to me would be in kind. So as you read of these thing, though you might wonder for whom these words I write, have no doubt that they are my dreams of us. how long must I toil in these dreams of us, to bring them into the realm of the reality? and is this even possible, this I ponder as I dredge for the answers.
