Rendezvous

Through the years I've yet to see, The amount of beauty you've given me. I held your hand wishing desperately to be the one to hold and keep you near. We soon grew older- high school now over, with you up north and I back at home, we found others to fill the void. The days soon past, I saw my love- love once there- fade to black. You brought him home, I welcomed you both with open arms, even invited you both to join me in feast- a feast for two. We laughed; we talked, and cried at times. Memories of the past made me think of all we once had. As I walked you both out, I asked you, why. "Why did you say yes?"- Yes to his proposal. You did not respond only left with closed arms. The love once there has not deceased and I'm wishing and waiting to be with you, my dear.Hey, this is a story i had a dream about. let me know what u think...ryan Kind of funny, it came true~he did propose to her and she did say yes Written March 5th, 2002 © on Mar 05 2002 02:07 PM PST 0 • 18 • 8
