GOODBYE SIS (WORLD TRADE CENTER)
By Rof Cau
No poems today the heart's gone astray No poems tomorrow the future is sorrow if only my yesterday could be born again with teasing Sis at play I used to shout at her then Now with vision clouded I yearn for the time in which I never doubted a future for me and mine but the sky became black dust turned all to gray fortune changed tack stole my Sis away Swirling and falling which is up - which is down? In sleep I hear you calling and I cry your name Yesterday I had my Sis funning, clowning around now she's forever stilled in this quiet I'm mowed down Written September 11th, 2001 © on Nov 16 2002 06:40 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
