Those Are Not Stars

those are not stars that so brilliantly shine from places afar, my friend, but droplets of wine spilled by wanton gods Those are not stars that so brightly flicker from heavens afar, my friend, but bitter tears torn from mortal souls Those are not stars that so radiantly light the skies overhead, my friend, but the souls of the Lost denied their rest those are not stars that do illuminate the universe so wide, my friend, but the blazing pyres of our destiny Written September 15th, 2001 © on Sep 15 2001 05:38 AM PST   10 • 8 • 13
