You slammed the door And my heart ached You closed a chapter in my life As you disappeared You left nothing to me But a memory of the anger The harsh words And horrible lies we told If only I knew why you treat me this way And if you only knew GOD! I wish you knew.... How much I LOVE YOU!!!!this poem is very, very personal to me. i love people commenting on my work but also keep in mind that when people write its about how they feel so please dont explode when you read this...and think "oh god another angry writer" thats not true. Poets take their feelings out on words and masterpieces are made in the process of anger and sadness. Through loss and tears. This poem is about having an arguement with the one you love and acting as though you are about to give up but you know you never would because you love them and you hope they know it.
