ILLUSIVE DREAM It was just a dream that lasted a while But I could have sworn I saw him smile But then again, that's what dreams do Feels like you're there, just isn't true You can see his face, look into his eyes Hear his voice, it's just in your mind His breath so warm, his hand in your hair You know it's love but he's not really there A touch so gentle as he holds your hand You need him now, you can't understand A love so strong, you feel his touch Who is this man you love so much? In your heart you can feel him near But he's miles away, he can't be here Should you awake and try to forget This dream of love, no one you've met? The tears will fall, your heart will break The pain is real, the dream is fake Do you hang on or do you let go? You're just not sure, you just don't know For hours on end you sit and wait He doesn't come, is this your fate?
