COMA

'COMA'   Who would have ever thought life would bring such sorrow   Where i despise you for bringing forth tomorrow-       I never thought this pain would over power me       The lives we live are just one big mystery                   Can't you see?-   I breathe in the waves of the salty air, as the sand runs through my fingers, like my time is running out-       Pain clouds my mind, its me im looking to find-   You have risen so high, why is it the enemy will never die?       Deny thy father refuse thy name, my thoughts of fear are too far from sane-   When there becomes nothing left to gain, i denounce my reign-       Rain pours as i wished-   The power i have within is held back, for i know so much its as though it were a sin-       When darkness pours and nothings around, except for your poisoned hearts sound-   What have you really learned through all of this?-       To lie, cheat, steal?-               Well i have discovered how to heal...   The soul is your treasure, no jewel could compare or measure-       I couldn't allow mine to continue to severe So, ill continue to try, and aimlessly search, for i couldn't allow my jewel to be in the huerst, though it feels as though im forever cursed...   ~Shannon~i never really share my poetry, but I'm curious as to how other people view it, so i guess be as honest as you can please thank you Written September 21st, 2001 © on Sep 21 2001 04:03 PM PST   0 • 1
