In My Corner
By San d
"In My Corner" Night has descended the moon nestled behind the facade of misty snow. White outside my window makes the dark an evening glow. In my corner with a fire dancing in the room. I lay and watch the snow fall to the scent of burnt woods perfume. Snowed in by the crystal blanket already nestled on the ground. Heaps of mighty snow drifts in my sleeping garden and all abound. Trees that lost their cover now coated all in white. Crystals dangle from its limbs sparkling through the night. Snowed in this wintry bliss with a wine glass of pink Chablis. Ease dropping on the echoes of the winds whispering through the trees. Silence that succumbs me in the midst of a wintry storm. Snowed In, lying by my fire, in my corner, I stay warm.
