I look unto this night, As I wish my love to be at peace… Hoping he is well, Wishing him nocturnal bliss, Instead of tossing pain. I lack his arms to be surrounding my waist, As I churn dreams into the clouds above, Blissful sleep around us, As we love each other… Into the night we dream- Of the beautiful days, We loved each other. I look unto the night, As I know my love is strong- And our love unbreakable. Our separate nights build character, But to be together a dream, But silently we sleep- Knowing the other longs, To be… Touched, Kissed, Caressed to sleep. Silently we dream all happenings, Of making passionate love. But we know it cannot be, But forever our dreams, Caress us in turmoil- Of our separate loves, We long to see… And to the moon we pray, Let tomorrow bring us coupled- To love and be. But just tonight, Let us dream of nocturnal love- And the mighty passion we can envelope ourselves in.separated from your love...just imagining the love we could be experiencing.
