the day they laughed- i wanted to cry. because you were beautiful- they laughed at your difference, your talent, your grace. you were amazingly you- so proud and unique. how can one laugh at something, so graciously powerful and upbeat? when will they learn, it's all of us who create? the many ways to be beautiful, and your's was chosen to be slandered? the day they laughed- i shed no tears, you lifted your head and laughed along, too. never would they know- the sorrow you felt, cos so deeply hid, it remained. for you knew your beauty, never questioned it. let them laugh- for someday they'll see.critique away...
