i watch you from the shadows, so much better- you are than me. my thoughs quite evil, you sense the feelings- good for you, cos you're the star; some thing i will never be. the limelight surrounds you, your actions so perfect... i'm beaten down w/negativity, there i'll remain. shadows cover my face- tears hide in my eyes, a glisten of light- the glint of HATE. i run in circles trying to compete, such a waste of hope- i must be. you're the star, something i cannot be- that occupation's taken; by the best, a thing i'll never be. my fists can be clenched- aggravation envelopes me, my hard work never meeting goals- this self pain, you'll never know. the loser is me, not you dear, in ways i suppose i love you- cos you're everything i want to be, not a fact i can face, easily. you're amazing, you shine so fiercely; i want accepted and the star thinks- i dislike her. she's the best she can be- so maybe this isn't for me. i can bitch, but the best must come from w/in. maybe i'm empty- and she's full of excellence. she's the star, she's what i want to be.this is about looking jealousy right in the face...after being provoked. is it overall alright?
