Silence
By SecretSins
I sit in silence in the back of your mind, trying to wait till you truly fuck yourself up.I'm watching you drink, from the bottle that will one day take your life.I try to call out to you,but I can't speak. All I can do is bang on the walls of the cageyou have built for me.I watch you take it to the next step. Now you're shooting up,you just can't stop! Please tell me,what you feel when you're messed up?What is it that you're hiding from? It's only now I realize that my voice really isn't silenced. I'm screaming louder then I ever have before. You just can't hear me,you've blocked everything out,no matter how loud I scream,or far I run,you still can't see!I don't know how to stop you,I can't save you, because you've already chosen your fate. You've already lost. Now you're sitting around, waiting for tomorrow. But at the rate you're going, you're never gonna see another day. Can't you just open up,and hear the deafening silence, that your life became? This is about a very close friend, who can't hear me (or anyone) anymore.
