Mock me.....if you dare
By sexypants
They laugh when I tell them of love, through words and songs and smiles. Mocking me, telling me Im a fool to believe in you and the love you bestow upon me. Must I have you physically here in order for it to be "REAL"? What IS love anyway? Is it when two lovers share their bodies in a moment of passion? Or is it when two lovers share, their souls in a moment of comfort? Is love defined by tender kisses upon saddened cheeks? Or is love defined by loving words, upon heavy burdened hearts? Mock me if they will, for they know not what I do of you. If you were standing before me naked, I might "SEE" you in your beauty and glory. But I would not see your true depth, or your soul laid bare before me, in words for me to absorb. No, I see you. And distance keeps our bodies seperated, like a cruel fence with jagged edge, that neither of us can climb over. But I see you through the holes. I hear your voice from the other side. And Mock me if they will. But I love you.I love you monkey. :) I see you. And thank you for seeing me. Written January 20th, 2002 © on Jan 19 2002 06:41 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
