Silence

By sexypants

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

silence falls upon my being as halfway around the world, you turn off your light shut your eyes and fall into a sweet slumber. when you stop singing to me, turn off your mic and go to bed, I sit in silence. I dont want anything to remove the last voice my soul heard. If I had to choose the way I wanted to die. I would choose to have you lying next to me holding me close as you sang to me. Your soft voice, tenderly lulling me to my final rest. Once again comforted by you.I love you Written January 7th, 2002 © on Jan 06 2002 03:16 PM PST   0 • 8
