As she finishes another bottle of vodka, She looks up to the clock ticking on the wall, One hour to go. The new year will soon be here, In with the new and out with the old. She goes into the kitchen and opens another bottle, She's not celebrating, Her 'friends' are out celebrating. But tonight she'll stay at home. She'll have a celebration of her own, To end the disasters and put things right, She should have done this a long time ago. Not long now, it will soon be over. The in is filled with empty broken bottles, The glass is sharp and painfull. The clock ticks the final countdown, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, Everything is slow, She doesn't feel the thud as she hits the floor, She's already dead, The blood stained glass smashes as it falls.
