The betrayal of Love

By sezzie

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The magic of Love is shared by two special people. As they gaze into each others eyes, And share the gentle kisses that mean so much. Was it the sweet nothings, That were whisphered into my ears, Which made me feel so special? Or the promises that were kept in my heart, That made me fall in Love? When he held me tight, Nothing else mattered. I felt safe from all the hurt and pain, That life brings. Everything seemed perfect, And I was happy. But one day, Without warning it all ended. Love once again betrayed me. And there was nothing I could do to stop it. All the promises were broken. The pain hit me hard. I feel all alone. Stupid and used.
