Thoughts In A Casino at 5:30 AM
By ShadowDancer
Watching out the Window, I see the lights of a semi-truck fade into the night. The early morning air is crisp and the wind is blowing cold against the guests. Lights are on in the parking lot. Slot machines are blinking and dinging, as I hear the sound of two different songs blend to make a single most unpleasent tune. Coins "tink" into the trays, and guests are asking me for change, once Again I inform them, that is not my job. Another disappointed look. I keep walking through what seems to be an eternity of hell, But I don't care, because the only thoughts in my mind, are of you. Written March 8th, 2002 © on Mar 07 2002 10:36 PM PST 0 • 10
