Fallen Angel

By Shadows Dark

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

She's a fallen angel, with tattered wings. You can tell by her face, that she's thinking nasty things. But still sometimes, You'll see her cry, when she remembers, all that has passed her by. She'll rage, and she'll weep, and she'll lay awake, because angels don't sleep. She asks if it was worth it, worth losing her wings, then she'll remember her dream, and would give up anything. But still, sometimes, you'll see her cry, becuase even fallen angels, ...will long to fly. Written February 25th, 2002 © on Feb 25 2002 07:29 AM PST   10 • 0 • 1
