Angel Tears, A Conversation with death
"if I could break time" she said, only a mortal gasping for breath "forever would be a blink in time and dreams would never die But if time could break what is life, besides a short span of wandering into the darkness searching for a light" "a far cry," death repsonded, "from the way you know life is, just angel tears od pity for you are only a mortal so cry for your short life and fail to live with the fiery, immortal dreams of the fallen where all sorrows are gone and angels shun at the sight but who wouldn't give all possesions to live with the undead?" "but the angels cry of sorrow" the angel sighs, "for only dreams are immortal living in the light and nightmares running in the darkness but death remains free like a dreaded gift of Pandora threatening and buying souls so throw down you're swords and fly away from here gliding in the moonlight" - somewhere, a tape recorder turns off and a single angel tear falls to the unholy ground and her last sigh dissolvesbe nice:) I think this poem is horrable :) Written December 8th, 2001 © on Dec 08 2001 12:54 PM PST 18 • 0 • 1
