By shadows of saturn

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

he took you to his home ate through your skin to your bones and now you feel so alone but never truely alive dropped down from the darkened sky never again to be free and fly I've seen you changed you were dead for just a day but a price you must pay dump your heart into a glass jar now you are all rotten inside but you've come to far you've lost your wings and forgotton to fly to become A bat is to lose your wings and now you can never come homeI guess this poem is about how people try to hide from the truth but lose a lot in the process Written April 8th, 2002 © on Apr 08 2002 02:10 PM PST   10 • 0
