A Life Outspoken & The Restrictions of The Mind
By Shane
Like a story untold, the mystery never truly unravels Confusing at first, we begin to except what life offers Never truly alone but always in search of something new We try to envision a better for ourselves Winter time brings us the pleasure of pain, The beauty of snow and the horrors of rain The question is asked, but never understood Beware that which you don’t know only venture where you should Fear us or love us the choice is not yours Consequence in sequence all things have to change Set in stone at first but by time re-arranged Follow me quickly and we will be free until we have continue our chores Never truly evil, but rarely ever good We as a people live as we should A brief time for error, we fear doing wrong A tale of life’s sadness is turned into a song At the end of each dying sun We rest our flesh and bones as one Are mind lies in a state of delusion A predetermined wishful illusion Together are bodies and souls as one, Like children softly play, we sleep With the newborn sky to light the day, We rise again with will to play Repeating the past as though each day should differ from the last The truth my friends is that it’s all a circle and then we die alas Written March 11th, 2002 © on Mar 11 2002 02:50 AM PST 10 • 0
