Blind Love

By Shane

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I know I love you like I love the sun, Forever your there but not always in sight I figure I’m blind so I close my mind A gift of life given, you’re the gift of time And your memory it stays behind Though we’re different behind the eyes My memory pictures your eyes Your with me tonight I’ve loved and I’ve lost and I have compromised The feelings they break me for reasons I don’t know How can I love you when so little I know I cannot see you, so you can’t be there, I guess I’ll go Though my feelings get left behind, My mind feels your here with me tonight Your hair shining in the moons light But only in my mind, do they say that love is blind Written March 18th, 2002 © on Mar 18 2002 05:51 AM PST   10 • 0
