Days

The morning she’s touching me, She thinks that I’m that I have hope within’ me The evening, I told I was god, told her all alone And she believes me, believes in me When I don’t believe myself, I’m lying to myself The night said he deceived me, When he told me I was there He cornered me, in false belief To tell me, he never believed me Disbelief, was all it took To change me, From my eyes winter fell Like leaves from a tree Winter was so cold to me, She made me weep for being me These are the pains of days gone by Perhaps someday the pain will die Written March 2nd, 2002 © on Mar 02 2002 06:00 AM PST   10 • 0
