Meaning Of Life?

What a pity I’m no longer young and pretty Like the fools cry I just got old Young and lonely I thought I was At the bottom of the well Seems to be that as you age Your body goes to hell, And your mind, don’t feel so well I can’t think I’m aging now Everything is lost somehow But you never know Until somebody tells you so That’s the price you pay For you life It’s harsh, some may say But that’s just life So take a chance And be a man before your sun sets Take my thoughts take my hand With a little thought of your own You’ll be a better man With a little life of you own, you’ll finally understand The meaning of life, You’ll personify The meaning of life If your nobody And you wanna be somebody Take a look at your self on a stormy day With the sunshine raining down You’ll hear the rainbow say To be yourself, you have to believe yourself To believe yourself is to be no-one else If your nobody till somebody loves you Well somebody better come to you And make all the better things true Because a man alone, is a man ruined through and through Don’t forget what I tell you ‘Cos I’m the only friend that you’ve got You think your more important Until you’ve lost what you’ve got I never want to live again If everything is gonna be the same Extend your finger and point the blame You’ll realise, that yourself is the only target to aim Written March 2nd, 2002 © on Apr 02 2002 09:35 AM PST   10 • 0
