The ‘Real’ World

By Shane

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You were a slave since the day you were born You know life’s all been planned The question’s how much can you take Knowing that the air you breath and life you lead are fake You can’t spell reality without a word of three You can’t live a life of this world because life is not free You were programmed to live and die The word I speak is lie God and Devil, good and evil everything’s the same So for all your lack of fortunes the set up is to blame Moral of the story harsh and true, but you know it’s all a lie Destiny I set in stone, you can’t choose your fate so die Written April 21st, 2002 © on Apr 21 2002 12:18 AM PST   10 • 0
