This One (For Those Who Care)

By Shane

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

This one’s for all the helpless… This one’s for all the helpless people of the world My homeless friends my disciples The one’s who created me Would you look at me now? Well, would you look at me now? This one goes out to all those that I forget, To all the people sitting crying and living in regret This one’s for you, It’s all for you This one goes out to my friends on the street Laughing in the faces of every people that they meet This goes out to my spelling out of place They put a smile on my face Is it you, who forgot me? Is it true, that you won’t look at me now? This one is for all those alone This one’s for myself, For all those sitting weeping, For regret inside themselves This one goes out to all the people that I love, The ruthless lawyer suing and the dead man above All the folks that are drowning, In a river of love This one’s for you, I don’t always speak the truth But this one’s for you This one goes out to the man who cannot see, All the folks alone and those with the disease This one is loved, this one’s enough Enough love for me This one’s not for those who’d marry me For simple minded popularity Not for those who paddle in the shallow end For them there’s only one thing I recommend Wake yourself, help yourself Look at all you have accomplished And all your fools gold wealth This one’s for a mother, who lies dead with her child This is for the love for her, that stays… Until and past we’re old This one’s for me, this one is meThis one kind of got derailed at the end, you'll know what I mean if you read it.
