What’s a friend worth? Any treasure on this earth? Perhaps you have to admit Friends ain’t worth shit Your friends they aren’t happy Until they get just what they want They want you for something, Won’t stop till they’re done Friendships just a hand me down, I’ve got friends, but I’m still young Speak to us later, and see what we’ve become I got my friends and they’ve got theirs as well Creative genius, well a genius that creates That’s me defined for what I can tell I can’t hear you but I feel the things you say I don’t want to, but I can’t make them go away Well I got my friends and they got theirs Seems like I’m the only one who cares What did I do? To make them turn on you You keep pointing the blame Until it knocks someone down Because someone said “You like to get around” What is a friend worth A friend is worth less Than you care to think They’ll stab you in the back before you can blink They me know me, but I don’t know myself I’m living in a prison with them on my shelf Friends are people who couldn’t care less Trash your life and leave you with the mess A friend is the one who will lend you a hand A friend will be there for as long as you can stand What’s a friend worth?
