A Distant Time
By sidewinder
Cool summer breezes, Touch against the back of your neck, A celebration heard around the corner, a renewal of heart, Seasons where a spirit touches a smile, New horizons meet the sunset, Lovers found in the park, And a new light touches like sunshine found in spring, Embraces sometimes complete thy soul, Dreams rage where needed, And a smile brightens the day, laughter is heard from children's voices, Those generations that have life before them, What will they learn? And what can we learn from them? a complete nourishment found in wisdom, A distant time found different yet the same. Oct. 15, 2000 Written January 24th, 2002 © on Jan 24 2002 05:45 AM PST, Billy E.
