Another Gorgeous Day

By sidewinder

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

The wind blowing a blistering cold, Brisk against my neck and here I am, Looking against the horizon, Hoping for a look at an eagle, Enjoying this winter day, But right now.....                   No such luck, Aw well....               Maybe another day! Still...            there's sunshine to enjoy, It was time to get out, Didn't want to look at the same old room, It was stuffy there, I can hear the river rushing forever against the bank, In the distance I can see a raven looking for another meal, I wish him luck! I can see the clouds                         floating against the sky, And I smile,                    It's gonna be                                   another gorgeous day!
