As The Sunlight Touches
By sidewinder
As the sunlight touches a brilliance overflows my eyes, The snow has been falling since yesterday, Finally the sun crept out and is making up for the rest of the day, Here I am enjoying the silence, From the distance you can hear the cars from a nearby highway, Sometimes I can hear my neighbors discovering the daytime, And here it is a quiet Sunday afternoon, Some would say that I am wasting the day, But I say... I'm just enjoying the peace, Though I can say... I'm glad winter is nearly over, I'm very much waiting for the warmth of springtime, I can hardly wait.... for the warmth to touch my skin, So I don't have to hear the cold winter wind.
