Come To A Point Of Agreement
By sidewinder
Why is it that when I defend myself you jump on the bandwagon, Jeering, caterwauling, And then with my back at the wall I rage like a cornered wildcat, Snarling at the world, Snapping? Why is it that when I speak my mind, You criticize my ideas, Complaining, badgering, I jump like a startled animal defending, Why do my dreams matter not? You tell me that have to live in reality, But the child in me rages on. So somehow we have to come to an agreement fulfilling the balance that we both need. June 2, 1999 By: B.E.
