Distractions
By sidewinder
Circles and distractions, Images of a partial creative mind, Lost in thought, Traces of a ghostwheel forever in motion, People come, People go, It's like a revolving door, Round and round, But you can't let it get to you, So you picture a better place & a better time, Just for the appearance, And the public never knows that hidden side that sometimes shows the fangs of annoyance, And they wonder... why? But it doesn't matter, By the same token it does, Still you hide behind a mask of a smile just for appearance sake, Some times you wonder, Why bother? Such is the puzzle and life lives on.
