I Hear Those Coyotes Calling

By sidewinder

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I hear those coyotes calling, Together they're singing a midnight song, I walk out and see the stars shining, Look at them glittering, very beautiful, one by one Next you feel Mother Nature crying to all her children, Somehow she seems complete, Invoke that ageless wisdom, Connect to that twilight found only in a Rainbow stream, Threshold touched through a dream, A traveler seen and challenge out of his own heart, A land of the mist....                          where a song arises, Listen to that spirit calling, Totem to that great dance of life, Sacred to all                   who have the wisdom to learn.
