I Heard This Word Called Magic

By sidewinder

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I heard this word called magic, They say its in everything, Some people say that it doesn't exist, But I keep hearing of it all the time, It's seen through the heart, Its joy is felt everyday, If it doesn't exist then why does man try to use it? Or if the ones that say it doesn't exist, Fear it, Because true magic comes from the heart, For those who don't believe it doesn't exist, Let them live in this world of reality, I prefer the other way, And touch magic from my soul, Some that touch magic call it a different name, To some a different past or a different reality, Magic ran for centuries, The uses for it had different names, The age of magic is back running rampantly, Some see it through an age of dreams where past lives come around and touch when least expected, It's found when the heart is open & magic will come, Some find it when the muses are speaking through poetry & song, It touches through the dreams and is celebrated throughout time, the heart weaved its own magic, Brilliant in many hues, For within this universe a dedication to magic weaves only a miracle in time.
