Nature's Eye

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

My eyes tired from the night before, Too little sleep and yet the day had arrived, I'm setting at a coffee shop pondering my thoughts... Where do I go from here? In the distance I hear a voice singing, The words are not too clear, But I like the melody, Right in front of me I see a giant photograph, With a woman crossing the river on an old suspended bridge, Beautiful river rolling through the mountains, Lush green countryside, Opposite of the room there's another giant photograph, In it there's a man rock climbing freehand style, Right beside a waterfall, Of again beautiful country scenes! And right to the side of it there's one more giant photograph, This one is showing people climbing sandstone formations, I believe that was taken out of Moab,Utah in Monument National park, Whoever took these pictures has an eye for scenery, Well taken with Nature's eye in her own art.
