Open Your Eyes And See

Why is it that we forget that we're the keepers of this Earth? Yes... It's our responsibility to take care of her, But are we? No... I think not, We destroy her forests all in the name of progress, We trash her streams & lakes, Make cities,                             For what?                                       For the comfort of us, To some only money matters, Yes... We have needs, But what are we going to do when Mother Nature responds in anger? And she will... with droughts, floods & starvation, When our land no longer produces our food, When the fish & the wildlife are no longer there, When global warming take place as we destroy our forests, What will we do when disease takes over? Because we've all those possibilities in cures that we could have found, Why ? Because of our short sightedness we've forgotten the lessons that we've learned as druids, To some wiccan means witch, Something to be feared, In reality... it means wise one, That see's all, And hears all, understanding found in mysterious ways, Open your eyes and see!
