A letter here, I have found just under the edge of my door, On the front, There was written; "Priority... Please read!", Then the story unfolds as she begins- I'm just a lady that you probably don't remember Still... Here's my story; I met you at the drugstore a very long time ago, At the time I was feeling down, But you cared enough to ask; "What was the matter?" "Things couldn't be that wrong !" And so you cheered me up, Never will I forget you, You gave me something that I'll always love you for, What was that? 'twas love, You cared more than anyone I've ever known, Somehow... You gave me self-worth, And for that, I thank you! Signed... Forever True, As time went on we had shared a couple of night together, Nothing very heavy, But became closer and closer, What we knew was true friendship, Yes... You have a way with yourself, It's nothing for you to give, And that's a natural gift, Keep on giving! On through the day we shared many memories, Eventually we lost contact, Why? Mostly because of me, I wanted to see new faces, But that didn't matter to you, Happiness was your concern, So what did you do? You got together with your friends and through the biggest party that I have ever seen... Then you gave what you could, But it wasn't the money that mattered, You gave of yourself and that touched me, Thank you for giving, And if I can ever repay the kindness, Please let me know ! What's mine is yours, And thank you again! I'll always love you! Bye for now! P.S......... Don't be such a stranger, I'll leave my name & number. Signed....
