Special Sauce
By sidewinder
Sometimes in the dark I think of the stars & how far they stretch, In my dreams sometimes I see visions of far off galaxies & wondrous visions, With my mind, the way it is, and my thoughts, The way they form & take, Are we the light? Are we the stuff of stars? When will we look in the mirror & know our potential? Know our nature, Or perhaps look into ourselves & know our souls? And thus the way love & fear ends & begins the universe, Know not that glass breaks, Not that gum is sticky, Not that one does not make two, Live with you're conscious mind, As well as your subconscious, Feel one as the other, The other as the one, You are special, You are everything & a part of the whole, Be separate only never, This may be scary to you or not, What can I do to make you see that we're all part of one special sauce, Blended from each of us, All have a uniqueness to share, Qualities that makes this world worth living in, Some are poets, Some artists, Some dancers. Some hold fantasies that dreams are made from, And in those dreams a specialness completes the coarse, Love is the house that will shelter us all, In time, But with baby steps, As a race, We will see things through my eyes.
