The Prophet's Words
By sidewinder
I once knew a prophet, He was wise, And he taught me much, He taught me of the world and it's ways, Each day I remember his words, Go forward, And each time you can learn, Then do, See with your eyes, Listen with your ears, Speak only when spoken to, Think with your mind, Take each day a little at a time, Don't look back or the past will always haunt you, Don't look in the future or dreams will take your life over, Live only in the present, and what will be, Will be, Now each day that I live, I follow his words, For they are embedded in my brain.
