The Voice In The Night

Voice of the Lady, Calls in the night of the wind, Calling the people in the valley, She touches in song, Varied only in time, Within that harmony that touches in magic. Can you hear her? Talking the old language of a heart's lover, When they first fell in love the magic word was called the night, With winds & clouds wherein the silence a full moon appears and the dance begins. Look into her eyes & tell me that it hasn't. Pure bliss in a miracle of time, Forever met in romance, Listen... And tell what you hear? A voice in the night, The lady looked into the wind, A world of magic & love, Dreams of the writer, The voice calls to the writer, Tell the story.... Voice in the night. Tell those dreams & fantasies mired in promises, Where the lady finds the man of her dreams, An elfin prince, A soulmate who takes her to the promised land, Where chivalry still touches & a knight finds courage, heard in tales told by a bard, Mystery & intrigue, Felt in the soul, Those whispers revealed past midnight & the joy pampered the heart only in time, Mystery & fantasies of the mind, The man, her lover, Stands from two different pasts, He calls to his lover in the night, She hears his voice in the wind, Splendor rises, Immaculate in that wind, Which whispers... Only in the night. The moon & the wolf stand in agreement, Nature takes its course, When two souls entwine in that spiral dance celebrating the miracle of time, They unveil of the night, miracle love in the wind, Wolf runs to the beat of a lover's heart, The moon smiling in the night, Old voices talking to the lover in the night, Wind blowing the voice into time for all to hear. If listened to with a heart, the voices in the night tell lovers to dream, Believe in the magic Of the voice of the night, And in that miracle their voices are heard eternally, So when the night arises some say that you can still hear them, Listen... Do you hear that voice in the night? Feb. 12, 2002 By: B.E. Whitehorn & Anthony Garcia Written February 14th, 2002 © on Feb 14 2002 05:19 AM PST, Billy E. Whitehorn    love
