Where You Remain
By sidewinder
Where you remain hardened by cold, Tears touch my eyes, Why must the blindness forever cut? Frozen hard as steel, Both unwilling to bend, Sadness slashes my veins and I bleed, Where hope once reigned now silence forever haunts, And I scream, Somehow bleakness touches where a soul held a glimmer, Now a wail of woe complains, What happened? Sorrow meets those ashes hand in hand, Shadow endures throughout the rain. Sept. 3, 2001 Written December 29th, 2001 © on Jul 23 2002 09:21 PM PST, Billy E. Whitehorn 0 • 10 • 1
