Whispers Upon The Night Sky
By sidewinder
Shuttered in pain, My mind touched shattered by the events of the night before, Enclosed in though my heart untouched freed from the bonds I help make, Jagged & jaded yet... in a shade of fear, Unsure of what might be ahead, Where do I go from here? Standing alone tall, feeling the cold night chill, trying to arrange the thoughts so wrong, Daytime dreamer, Lying so still, Is it the night or somehow the nightmare, Is it the devil I know, Or the unknown I fear that forces me back here, Dreams of the night before dancing in a hazy sleep, Twisting, turning, touching fear melts away into the passion as lust sweeps over the mind, Ravenous in its warmth, A whisper gentled softly, slowly in the wanting, Gathered a bit at a time, Blind... to a need, The hunger for a pain that brings forth a smile, Feeling in control but at the same time letting go, If just for an instant rush that brings tears when the night is done.
