You Just Have To Have Faith
By sidewinder
We touch beyond those dreams, friendship is not measured by what we do, But from who we are, A smile when one needs it, A kind word when the chips are down, A laugh heard from a joke relished, A welcome back... when a trip was made, Only when resolve is tested do we find what makes up our make up, How far can we be pushed? What are the limits of the Earth? When looked upon, When we've moved on, Will people say he was good sometimes? Or that his ideas will live on? In those moments of loneliness will his actions and words comfort for hopes sake? Or just that he was a good worker? A smile found in eyes brave in heart, A willingness to share a kindness, And when you need most a friend, He's there, It matters not what the cost may be, But in the end it'll work out, You just have to have faith.
