I Remember When We Were Friends(repost w/pic)

I remember when we were the closest of friends I remember when we called each other on Saturdays just to see if we could hang out I still remember all the fun we used to have each holiday when we got to finally see each other I remember all the times we would go in the basement and just talk and be together. That was the most fun I have ever had. I remember how we would always plead that the other one didn't have to leave. I remember how each time before we parted we would hug, and every conversation ended in I love you. Now we rarely talk. The only time I see you for an extended period of time is at a dreaded family gathering. When we finally see each other we say hi and go along our own business. When we go to the basement now we never talk, we watch movies. I could do that at home. I don't need to go all the way over to your house to be bored. When one of us has to go we only say "bye see ya soon" Only rarely do I get a hug from you. And even rarer do we actually say, "I love you" I wish our love, along with our friendship, had not vanished like the passing years. We might be 14 and 16, but that doesn't mean that we can't be friends. I still want to be your friend. And Mike... I Love You.sorry i just like this picture of us together...
