My Wedding Day
A girl walks down the isle, All heads turn to watch her. Her beauty, grace, and elegance, Astonish all. She searches the room, For that special guy. Finally, they lock eyes, And her smile spreads. She starts walking faster now, Almost floating towards him. She takes his hand, And squeezes it lovingly. As she lets go of her fathers arm, She gives his cheek a final kiss. A tear rolls down his face, He wipes it away, and smiles. She turns away, and glances up, Towards the god she now knows is there. She can not see anyone but her fiancé. He is all she wishes to see, As she studies his face, The rest of the world goes fuzzy. And she realizes, 'This is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with'this is only a dream...only a dream... now if only this were to happen in real life, i could be happy Written January 26th, 2002 © on Jan 26 2002 12:19 PM PST 18 • 0 • 8
