Tears are cascading down my face As I am told the reason you can not love me. I need to be less like her, Like the one you hate. You say I am just like her. That kills me inside, To know what you really think of me. You say how much you hate her all the time, Only now do I start to believe you. Only now do I think you really mean what you say. Those terrible words eat at my soul "That is why I can't love you". I now believe what my brain tells me You will never love me, You will never think of me the way you do others. I will never be good enough for you...will I? I truly do want to change... It's not that I want you to love me It's more that I want you to think of me as an equal. If that is all I get out of this, Fine...all I want is a friend. I want you to be my friend, Or at least think of me as someone you would like to get to know...
