Finest Satin

HIV Awareness....Ignorance is not an excuseHis young dead body lain out In a bed of the finest satinEyes that no longer could seeA heart that no longer could beatHe lived for the momentChased tainted dreamsNow he'll dream no moreHe knew he was taking chancesBut out each night he'd goThrowing caution to the windHer body was made for lovingShe was to beautiful to resistDancing his last dance in sinShe killed him slowly from withinAt first he refused to believeWhy would she lie and deceiveHe loved her lust for lifeOr was it just her life of lust That kept him going backThere is no way that 'she' could beThe giver of death She was and now he laysIn a bed of the finest satinThis was a challenge poem to promote HIV and AIDS Awareness Written October 30th, 2001 © on Oct 30 2001 02:17 AM PST   0 • 1
